My name is Talia, and I am a licensed Esthetician based out of Cranston, Rhode Island. 

My journey into the beauty industry began in my very early teenage years, where I struggled with chronic, cystic acne. Having acne and being bullied for it ignited a passion in me, for beauty and skincare. This is what lead me here today. 

I initially earned my degree in Early Education from the University of Rhode Island. After a few years, I knew this wasn’t what I wanted to do forever. I kept finding myself drawn to the world of beauty and skincare. In 2016, I started doing eyelash extensions, I realized that my true calling was in skincare—a career that would inspire and motivate me each day. I wanted to help people feel better about themselves and never have to feel how I felt growing up. I finally made the jump and decided to enroll at Catherine Hinds School of Esthetics. From the first week of school, I knew I had found my purpose. I graduated in 2019, proudly becoming licensed in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island as an Esthetician. I was ready to help others feel confident and beautiful in their skin.

After graduation, I spent two years working under a dermatologist in a Med Spa, where I gained hands-on experience in advanced skincare techniques. While I appreciated the learning opportunities, I always craved more than what the spa had to offer. I had a vision, I wanted to create a space where I could make a meaningful difference in people’s lives and help them restore their confidence and do so where it didn’t cost them an arm and a leg. I was so nervous and scared, but nothing grows from a comfort zone. 

On July 11, 2023, I was officially on my own and opened Skin with Talia. This was the best decision I have ever made. This isn’t work to me, this is truly a passion. I cannot express to you the emotions that run through me when I see my client’s develop a confidence they didn’t know they had. 

My favorite skin concern to work with is acne. Having struggled with acne myself, I understand how deeply it can impact self-esteem, and I’m committed to helping others regain their confidence. I understand how cruel people can be and how it feels to wake up and find a painful new problem area and want to cancel plans for the entire week. The emotional toll acne takes on individuals is something I truly empathize with, and it drives me to continuously educate myself on the latest skincare trends, technologies, and products so that I can offer the best solutions for my clients- no matter the severity of the skin concern. 

Although acne is my speciality, I am here to help with ALL skin concerns- from aging to uneven tone and texture. I use trusted, results-driven lines like SkinBetter, Hydrinity, Face Reality, Glymed and DMK. 

Becoming an Esthetician was a deeply personal pursuit for me. My goal is to help you feel completely confident in your own skin. I believe that true beauty comes from embracing your natural self, which is why I strive to help clients see beyond the filtered images and edited photos we often encounter on social media. It’s important to be kind to yourself, and I encourage you to love the person you see in the mirror every day. I’m excited to be a part of your skincare journey and help you achieve the healthy, glowing skin you deserve. I am committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable and confident as you work toward your skincare goals.
